Assigning an AI model to a pond

One pond, one brain — set it in Pond Settings.

Bring-your-own models need Frogg Fusion ($27) or Fusion Pro ($47). Free accounts can still change pond colours.

What it is

Each pond can run on its own model, independent of every other pond.

Your Finance pond can run analytical, your Ideas pond creative.

Setting it up

  1. 1Open the pond.
  2. 2Click the gear icon in the pond header (top-right).
  3. 3Pick a model from the AI list.
  4. 4Attach or select the API key for that provider.
  5. 5Save — the header shows the active brain.

Using it day to day

  1. 1The chosen model powers that pond's chat and AI actions.
  2. 2The header badge always tells you which brain is awake.
  3. 3Change it at any time; nothing in the pond is lost.

Pond header → gear icon → Pond Settings.

Match brain to job: Perplexity for facts, Claude for narrative, GPT for structure.
