What it is
With your own key, calls run against your provider account — no GetFrogg credit limits.
Keys are stored encrypted and never shown back to you in full.
You can hold keys for several providers at once.
Setting it up
- 1Get a key from your provider's dashboard (never share it anywhere else).
- 2Open Settings → AI Configuration.
- 3Choose the provider and paste the key.
- 4Click Test Connection and wait for the green status.
- 5Then open any pond's gear icon and assign that model to the pond.
Using it day to day
- 1Reuse the same stored key across as many ponds as you like.
- 2Rotate a key by pasting the new one over the old and re-testing.
- 3Remove a key any time — affected ponds drop back to House AI.
Settings → AI Configuration. Per-pond assignment lives in the pond gear.
Test the connection before you rely on it — a failed key costs you a run.
